Spokane offers self-defense classes, especially for women.  Instruction is offered by law enforcement agencies, as well as local martial arts businesses.

(a Non-Shooter Course)

This 4-hour non-shooter class for both women and men, provides great learning opportunities for anyone who wants to learn self-defense skills, but may not own or want to carry a firearm.  All proceeds go to the charity O.A.S.I.S. of Post Falls (208-773-1080), a domestic violence shelter for women.
